Since you're here, I'd like to share a little bit more about myself. I'm a mother and an artist. I write at a small desk in a cupboard of a room on the second floor of my Pittsburgh home. I'm often at the library working or in Frick Park looking up at the trees. I love watching my partner chase our son around the house while making weird faces and hand puppets.

You can find me sitting on our front porch drinking coffee, listening to the sounds of nature coupled with the urban landscape. I read in class a lot growing up and drew ten-cent portraits of my classmates as a side hustle. I knew I wanted to paint, write and create from a young age. I now write about art, artists and architecture. It's not been an easy road, and I know my life is full of privilege. I want to live to see a better, kinder and more inclusive world. I want to play my part in making that a reality.
