hello! You've made it this far...

Since you're here, I'll share a little bit more about myself. I'm a mother and an artist. I grew up in the South but made my way to the Midwest. I fell in love with the city of Chicago. After the pandemic I started my little family and now I write at a small desk in a small room in an equally small house.

I'm often at the library or running around with a coffee in hand and a baby in tow. I love working with artists, savoring art and spending time under the trees. You can find me listening to a podcast while walking around my neighborhood, reading a book or catching up with a friend at a museum. I also enjoy listening to records with my partner and children as we dance wildly about our living room.
